“ I just love this place. We've been going for years and most recently went for our anniversary. They are consistent in surprising us with new and delicious flavours, and we'll never stop ordering chicken of the sea. During this visit our favourite was the duck and cherry dish, which was such a decadent, deep, and flavourful experience. For those who haven't been, the tasting menu is the way to go. The atmosphere, staff, and chefs are lovely people with a passion for their crafts. If you bring 4 people, you get to taste the whole menu and it is amazing. Even the desserts surprise me every time. ”

“ Tried their "just the two of us" menu and was impressed. Starting with their chicken of the sea dish, it was a sea urchin pate with squid ink brioche. Flavours and textures were really nice, especially the added hazelnut crumble. The sea urchin didn't quite come through as strong as I liked, but my dining partner who is more sensitive to brininess appreciated that. Next was the beets by Charley, a beet salad. Beets were flavoured well and cooked with a great texture. The garlic tahini it came with was delicious and somehow worked really well which was a surprise. I would have liked some more flavour on the kohlrabi but it did provide a nice crunch. Next was the filet o fish. I thought the sablefish was very slightly under done, though the sauce it came with was rich and delicious. Potatoes were great, and the daikon was cooked well but lacking in flavour. However, it did all work quite well together. My favourite is the piggie Smalls dish, and the pig collar is an excellent choice of cut. They prepared it really well also, with the meat being both tender with a bit of snap, and the outside being crispy. Definitely the nightlight for me. Finished with a carrot cake and the ginger gummies were really cute. Delicious and decadent with cream cheese icing. Service was fantastic as well. With our server Jamal making great recommendations and always being attentive. Overall a great experience and would definitely come again. ”
